A Healing Place for a Hurting World
Healing Place Church has been built on the vision to be a healing place for a hurting world. Pastors Dino and DeLynn Rizzo and the staff at HPC have a passion to express Christ through creative means. God has brought together an incredible team to express his love in practical ways. Community outreaches and missions' projects of every kind are just a few of the ways that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with countless individuals. HPC is reaching out to the lost and hurting of this world. Filled with compassion and offering hope to the poor, oppressed, and forgotten, HPC is a healing place for a hurting world.
HPC hosts several events in the Baton Rouge area each year. All events are free of charge to the participants and include free food, rides, prizes, and activities for all ages. HPC also takes an active role during the holiday seasons by partnering with other local churches and organizations by distributing food and Christmas gift baskets to the needy families of the Baton Rouge area.
Servant Evangelism is an important part of ministry at HPC. It exists to show the love of God to people in practical ways. Servant Evangelism teams minister to people by mowing lawns, cleaning yards, helping families move, and by passing out everything from bubble gum on the LSU campus to cold drinks on a hot summer day.
In response to our need for more room for ministry, HPC has taken on the addition of the Annex Campus in the Barringer Foreman Technology Park on Airline Highway across from the Kleinpeter milk plant. The Annex Campus is the location of our weekend Annex services as well as our Wednesday night student ministry meetings.
HPC has established other campuses birthed out of a heart to be a healing place for a hurting world. The Dream Center Campus in Donaldsonville, the Spanish Campus in Gonzales, and the St. Francisville Campus in St. Francisville, LA. We have also started two extended network campuses outside of the Baton Rouge area. Our Danville Campus, in Danville, California and our Manaus Campus in Manaus, Brazil. Both of these campuses were started as an extension of Healing Place Church and the passion to reach out to all people with the love of God.
Worldwide Ministry
Healing Place Church has been influential in supporting numerous worldwide mission efforts. These include, sending members of the congregation to Honduras, the Philippines, Russia, Mexico, Africa, Ireland, Peru, and India. HPC also remains committed to the support of orphanages and schools for children with AIDS in Zimbabwe and Swaziland, Africa.
Weekly Services
Healing Place Church has 12 services on the weekends in the Baton Rouge area. Friday service is held at 7:00pm at the Donaldsonville Dream Center. Saturday service is held at 5:00pm at the Highland Campus. Sunday services are held at 8:00am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm at the Highland Campus, 9:00am and 11:00am at the Annex Campus, 10:00am at the Donaldsonville Dream Center Campus, 10:00am at the St. Francisville Campus, and 9:00am and 11:00am at the Spanish Campus in Gonzales. Sunday service times for our extended network campuses are 10:15am at the Danville Campus, 6:30pm at the Manaus Campus. HPC's Highland Campus and the Donaldsonville Dream Center Campus also have a Wednesday evening services at 7:00pm.

Future
Healing Place Church continues to look for new ways to reach the world for Christ. Construction plans are underway for a new church sanctuary as well as renovated youth and children's facilities on our 56 acres.
Also in the works, is a ministry to assist the physically and mentally challenged, and a program designed to help ministers plant churches throughout the Southeastern United States. The church will also continue sending teams of church members into the community and on mission trips around the world.
