Meet Pastor Dino

I have the privilege of serving as lead pastor of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - a church with multiple campuses, multiple venues, multiple services, and multiple cultural backgrounds. Over 6,000 attend every weekend to learn how to live the life that God intended them to live.

I believe in being down-to-earth and that whatever good is accomplished is all due to God's amazing grace. My passion is to show God's love to the poor and hurting. Since DeLynn (my incredible wife) and I started the church in 1993, we've stuck to one main thing: serving the poor and hurting in the Baton Rouge community and anywhere God gives us opportunity. That is the driving force that has made Healing Place Church what it is today. People are finding out that God loves them regardless of their past and they're letting God author new chapters in their lives.

My ministry influences are very diverse – from Ed Young, Jr. and Rob Bell to Joyce Meyer, John Maxwell and Hillsong Australia to Mother Theresa and John Osteen. All of that adds up to create in me a tremendous passion to love the unlovable and to create irresistible environments for hurting people to have an encounter with God.

I was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As an 18-year-old in 1984, I moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to attend Bible College, and that is where I met DeLynn. We were married in 1988 and we now have three incredible kids: McCall, Dylan and Isabella.
